Game of Thrones

Episode 7 - The Broken Man

6 June 2016

I liked the longer focus on a smaller number of characters. I thought it gave us two fully realised stories. The Hound is back and ready to be violent again. Sansa accepts Little Finger’s help in order to succeed. Both stories needed several scenes to get to an emotionally convincing moment.

I’m actually less excited by Margaery deceiving the Faith Militant than the idea that she would use them for her own ends. But at this point I suppose she can’t have a long reign because she’s sitting in Dany’s chair. I hope Varys and Greyworm can help Theon adjust to life as a eunuch.
