Michael helps Homer get out and comes to stay with the family.

Meanwhile Marge encourages Bart to do more exercise and he chooses to take karate lessons.

One day Bart is held in detention by Principal Skinner and is late for work. Fat Tony decides to have a word with Skinner and soon he goes missing, presumed dead. The guilt haunts Bart who is put on trial for Skinner's murder.

The second dream visits a world where Bart has immense power and forces the residents of Springfield to think happy thoughts or face his wrath. Finally we see Mr Burns try to create a robot employee and use Homer's brain to control him.

The Germans evaluate their new employees and decide they need to fire Homer. Mr Burns takes Smithers out to enjoy a night on the town and encounter Homer at Moe's. Burns is disgusted to see that no one fears him anymore.
