She realises that she hates the car because it’s too small for another child and she really wants one. Homer does not and delays as best he can hoping Marge will change her mind.

Bart and then Lisa begin gambling with the money. Homer and Marge miss the day when they were supposed to visit Grandpa. They rush round the next day but he has gone missing. They go through his stuff and find a beer mat from a club called Spiro’s. The owner tells them that Grandpa used to work there are had an affair with the singer Rita LaFleur. Rita tells them that Homer was six when they met and got married but she had to leave for Europe.

She won’t eat meat and can’t swallow the iron pills so she turns to insects.

Meanwhile Grandpa takes charge of Bart and Lisa. Bart creates a crazy water slide and injures Abe while Lisa is disgusted to see a hologram of Bleeding Gums Murphy at a jazz club.
