Episode 10 - TOW The Routine

29 March 2012

Synopsis: Janine gets a job as a dancer on Dick Clark’s New Years show and asks Joey to go with her. Monica and Ross love the show and go along too. Meanwhile Phoebe and Rachel convince Chandler to help them find the presents which Monica has bought them for Christmas.

The Good: Joey is great throughout, funny and sweet with Janine. Ross and Monica are funny at times and the routine is an enjoyably silly idea. Chandler has a couple of nice moments trying to do the right thing for Monica.

The Bad: Phoebe and Rachel are mean to Chandler. Mean in a demeaning, you’re beneath us and you’re annoying kind of way. It makes them both seem unpleasant and him seem like a wuss. The same really lame joke style is used several times here – where they say one thing and immediately contradict it. But it is a relatively entertaining and logical episode.

Best Line: (Ra) “Ok Phoebe’s you look in the kitchen, I will look in the back closet.”
(C) “I can save you time ladies, I’m right here.”

Best Friend: Joey
