Episode 7 - TOW Ross Moves In

29 March 2012

Synopsis: Now that Ross and Emily are getting divorced, her cousin kicks him out of his apartment. He moves in with Joey and Chandler but they become annoyed by his habits. Meanwhile Rachel is trying to pretend she is not interested in Danny and Phoebe dates a health inspector.

The Good: Both the Ross and Rachel stories are good. Rachel behaves as you might expect the spoilt prom queen to, as does the studious, geeky Ross. Ross realising he is in the way is good as is Monica’s straight-man reactions to Rachel. Phoebe is ok in her frivolous plot.

The Bad: There is not much subtlety to the stories and there aren’t many laugh out loud moments. The Phoebe plot is pretty pointless. It would have been better to leave her out and flesh out the others.

Best Line: (Ross plays the guys his sad Queen-parody answer machine message) (Ro) “Pretty cool huh?” (Guys both laugh and nod)
(J to C) “You’re fake laughing too right?”
(C) “Oh the tears are real.”

Best Friend: Rachel
