and analysis of what makes them
good, bad, irritating and enlightening.

Friends is a sit com about three guys and three girls living in New York who become best friends. Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe and Joey deal with life's adversities together. NBC 1994-2004

Episode 2 - TOW All The Kissing

11 August 2016

Synopsis: Chandler kisses Monica goodbye in front of the girls, so kisses them all to cover up their relationship. Phoebe is feeling left out because she wasn’t able to go to London. So the friends plan another trip to include her but then her water breaks. Rachel tells Ross that she still loves him.

The Good: Chandler and Monica’s secret relationship keeps things fresh and interesting here and the kissing joke is a really good one. There are some nice little moments with Monica’s photos of London and Joey trying to help her get into her apartment when Rachel locks her out. Rachel and Ross do ok with a very difficult scene where they laugh about their romantic situation when she tells him that she is still in love with him.

The Bad: That scene is tricky; it is difficult to tell whether it would have seemed better if Rachel hadn’t overacted, or whether she saves it. Essentially they try to turn a serious scene into a comedy one and they might have been better being more subtle with it. Monica using swing dancing when she is obviously talking about Ross is silly.

Best Line: (C) “Ok I gotta go to work (kisses Monica, realises the others are there). And uh Rachel great to have you back (kisses her). Phoebes! (kisses her) Always a pleasure! (walks out)”

Best Friend: Rachel

  • This was a really funny episode but your review isn't for TOW All the kissing. It's a review for another episode.
