and analysis of what makes them
good, bad, irritating and enlightening.

Friends is a sit com about three guys and three girls living in New York who become best friends. Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe and Joey deal with life's adversities together. NBC 1994-2004

Episode 1 - TOW The Princess Leia Fantasy

29 March 2012

Synopsis: Monica is struggling to get over Richard and can’t sleep. Joey tries his best but he can not stand Janice. Rachel advises Ross to start sharing more with his male friends but then Chandler shares too much.

The Good: A really fun episode. Everyone is excellent in their roles. Joey is fun trying to understand Chandler’s change of heart over Janice and is sweet enough to try and like her. Ross and Chandler are good as they uncomfortably share sexual information. Monica’s Dad showing up at the end of the episode to make her feel better is a lovely touch and a very fitting end to the show.

The Bad: Nothing really. It is not funny enough to be one of the best episodes but it is action packed, logical and starts the season off nicely.

Best Line: (J) “Oh hey Chandler, we stopped by the coffee shop and ran into Ross.”
(C) “Oh God.”
(J) “If it makes you feel any better, I do it to.”
(C) “Really?”
(J) “Oh yeah, I always picture your mum when I’m having sex.”

Best Friend: Ross
