and analysis of what makes them
good, bad, irritating and enlightening.

Friends is a sit com about three guys and three girls living in New York who become best friends. Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe and Joey deal with life's adversities together. NBC 1994-2004

Episode 20 - TOW The Dollhouse

29 March 2012

Synopsis: Monica inherits her aunt’s dollhouse and won’t let Phoebe play with it. Chandler dates Rachel’s boss, tells her he will call and doesn’t. Rachel feels the brunt of Joanna’s desperation. Meanwhile Joey finally sleeps with Kate but she says it didn’t mean anything.

The Good: Good storytelling here. Joey learning the feeling of having sex that means more to him than his partner is well done. It is unfortunate that this has absolutely no effect on him once the story is over. Ross is pretty funny trying to put out the dollhouse fire. Chandler and Rachel are both entertaining in their roles and Joanna is good as the highly strung boss.

The Bad: The dollhouse plot is fine but there is nothing to it. There aren’t any belly laughs on offer, but it is fine for what it is.

Best Line: (Ra) “Ok, my boss, Joanna. When you left, she started asking questions about you.”
(C) “Oh oh, liked what she saw huh? Dug my action, did she? Checkin out the Chan Chan man!”
(Ra) “That was…surreal.”

Best Friend: Joey
