Greendale productions presents a documentary about the great war between Troy's blanket fort and Abed's pillow fort. The study group takes sides, Annie sets up a field hospital and scolds Jeff for encouraging the chaos to get out of studying.
The group's new history professor wants them to think about how history would look if it was written by the losers. The gang also come into conflict with more German students who occupy "their" study room. Jeff's plans to reclaim it are thwarted so he sets up a fake Oktoberfest to trap the Germans into celebrating their own culture, a big no-no in Greendale. However as the group return to the study room they are protested by the rest of the student body.
Troy turns 21 at midnight so Britta and Jeff plan to take the group out to a bar. Britta and Jeff argue over what the cool bars in town are like. Shirley is distressed to return to a bar where she had some dark times. Abed meets a friendly guy who he can talk about Farscape with. Annie uses a fake ID and worries that she will be caught out. Pierce won't ask for anyone's help and gets stuck in a doorway.
Britta is getting campus-wide sympathy for telling Jeff that she loves him. So Jeff decides to regain everyone's interest by declaring his "love" for her.
