I don't understand the thinking behind the Jack-Jenna story. If you are going to make a joke about corporate sponsorship then surely you have to be subtle about it? Product Placement is fairly rampant on TV at the moment so what was the joke here? Every change they made to the movie was sledgehammer obvious. So often 30 Rock looks like TV for idiots when it is feted as such a sharp sit com.

The Pete plot amused me a lot though. Not necessarily in a good way. It's just been a long time since 30 Rock actually presented a straight-up story with a moral purpose and in the end it turned out to be a dream. They just couldn't bring themselves to tell that story in reality. I'm not sure what the purpose of the daydream was though it did feel very plausible.

Tracy is back. Meh.
